Mrs. Tuma Adama Gento-Kamara (Nee- Jabbi) is a UK born Sierra Leonean Legal professional. A Corporate Law and Tax & Revenue Law expert.
She is especially committed to empowering women and girls and is the Executive Director of the Nyawah Yainkain Foundation.
Recently the African Women Summit appointed Mrs. Gento- Kamara as their Chairperson from 2024- 2028 taking over from the former Vice President of Liberia Dr. Jewel Taylor.

African Women Summit Event
Empowering Ladies proudly celebrates and supports the appointment of our founder, Mariama Seray Cole, as President of the African Women Summit UK Chapter. This milestone reflects her tireless work uplifting women, building community, and creating spaces where African and Sierra Leonean women across the UK can rise together. This achievement was followed by a successful summit event in October 2025, bringing women together to connect, learn and celebrate leadership across the African diaspora.
